Alexa H. Kolbig, DMD

Dr. Alexa H. Kolbig earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut. During dental school, she was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. This accolade is reserved for the top 10 percent of students regarding academic achievement, service, professionalism, and ethics. Dr. Kolbig continued her pursuit of clinical excellence by completing a one-year intensive general practice residency program at Danbury Hospital.
Dr. Kolbig values the importance of a doctor-patient relationship. This trusting bond is essential for ensuring high-quality care and the most favorable outcome for the patient.
Dr. Kolbig served as treasurer for the Middlesex County Dental Society and continues to lecture about oral health in the community. She was chosen by her peers as a “Top Dentist” in the 2022 Connecticut Magazine.
In her spare time, Dr. Kolbig enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, tennis, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
